Slayer/Choppa balance proposal

Regarding the actual state of the game as of 2023-05-01

Both Choppa and Slayer should be adressed the following changes to open more diversity/choice when it comes to create new builds and also bring them close to balance.


Rage
Rage should not be used to gimp the class but to enhance it as it' done on many other games: crit chance increased, dmg increased, higher attack speed, etc.
Where other dps classes (both ranged and melee) have had signifiant improvment to their mechanics and damage output, Choppas and Slayers are still stuck in 2013. This balance proposal aims at bringing these two classes in 2023 and in balance toward each other as well as with other dps classes.


Dmg output
Due the modifications made to other dps classes burst and dmg output, the ramp up time for Choppas and Slayers is just another nail in the coffin and gimping us further more. To bring us closer to balance with other melee dps, the Furious! and Berserk! dmg buff should be removed from rage mechanic and:
- either a 50% dmg bonus applied regardless of the rage state or added to Reckless Gamble and Hurtin' Time.
- or Furious! and Berserk! add crit chance, dmg and attack speed.



Proposal #1
When in Red state (for Proposal #1):
- resist reduced down by 15% (instead of 50) and doesn't affect armor anymore : gives us more chance to reach melee when facing ranged and casters
- dodge chance reduced by 10% (to compensate the removal of armor debuff)
- increase crit dmg by 15% (negates the Stab you gooder if sloted) : Slayers will benefit a part of the Choppas tactic
- guard : efficiency reduced by 25% in Yellow state and 50% in Red state : to counterbalance other positive effects

Proposal #2
- remove Action Points cost on any Choppas and Slayers ability
- add a Rage Point cost on any Choppas and Slayers ability except for basic/builder ones
- slighty increase damage of any Choppas and Slayers ability
- basic Choppas and Slayers abilities now also generate Rage points

When in Red state (for Proposal #2):
- no more resits and armor penalties
- guard : efficiency reduced by 35% in Yellow state and 70% in Red state : to counterbalance other positive effects

Basic/Builder Abilities
Choppas: Slasha, Throat Slasha, Go For Da Soft Spot, Lotsa Choppin, Don't Go Nowhere
Slayers: Relentless Strike, Spine Crusher, Slow Down, Pulverizing Strike, Flurry



Tactics
Merge the STR and STR+WS in one tactic to offer Choppas and Slayers more choice and flexibilty regarding tactics choice. These two ones are bread & butter for both careers.
Brute Force and Don't Wanna Live Foreva for Choppas.
Brute Force and Wild Gambit for Slayers.


Abilities
Regarding right now's output damages of other classes and their numerous survivaviblity tools, the following change must also be adressed:
Remove self damaging on Reckless Gamble and Hurtin' Time.


Balance
  1. Completely remove Git to da Choppa and replace it with Deff Bringa as detailed in one of my previous proposals : as described here.
  2. Rampage is now a Morale 4 and placed at the top of Path of Trollsslayer skill tree instead of Unleashed Power
  3. Keep On Choppin' drains the AP it restores from its target
  4. Mirror the new Keep On Choppin' to the Slayer's Trollslayer tree instead of Rampage.
