I'm asking out of ignorance---is it truly this high?
I have around 250 initiative and full futile strikes.

Over 40 and below 50 % unless a knight buffs you but we don't know what debuffs you had.
Your mitigation is quite good.

Thats still can get easily debuffed to range where you can get critted.
For example just have a borc/sm steal 120 of your initiative and you are becoming wet noodle.
(250-120=130, 15 below the amount to zero the crits, just slot a single +24 init tali, they are pretty cheap)

Not to mention skills that always crit but i think all of them have some sort of cd that does not make them spammable

AM puddle still should let him have zeroed crits, he had to have something else also on him.

AM has "+ 7% chance to get critical hit on the target" at 7 pieces Souvereign

pls remeber that having 0% CTBC dosen't mean you can't get crits, it just means you dont give your opponend adition chances, so if AM have 40% ctit of its own, you will still get Critted.

he still should have it at like -3% causing them to be not this common. Well still its just a random chance maybe its just lucky AM with fully stacked crit chance.

Even with full FS and reduce crit lini with 250 ini. You'll only be at around -30%(total) from your initial ~15%. That means if your enemy has 40% crit chance. They'll still crit you 25% of the time.. Afaik, with max reduce crit, there's no way to completely avoid getting crit by a class that builds pure crit. Main reason for that is due to the fact all classes have a chance to be crit at around 15%.
