Return of Reckoning

Many people (and i'm included) have no idea of how the mechanics of Keep retaking works. So, we lost the keep and retook it, then what? What happens after? How to close the doors? Is there a way or after the lord is killed there is nothing else to do?

Because, this mechanic is kinda dumb. Why allow Keep retaking if it wont lead to a recover? Or if there is a way to recover keep, how does it work? Please.

There is no way to close the doors after retaking. The zone will eventually have to flip. A number of ideas have been discussed around this, unfortunately none have been implemented.

A captured keep basically turns into another BO with it's flag in the former Lord's Room.
All additional functionalities are lost

Afaik you can't lvl it up anymore at that point.
So if it wasn't at two stars before it was taken you can't spawn a ram in this zone.
If you managed to rank it up before it was lost you can spawn a ram at the wc.

There are for sure things that could be added to allow a any kind of recover, but usually, when the keep is lost the zone is, too.

This is a visual problem sometimes the game dont give you on screen some info it should, they should increase in game description a bit more.

Thanks for all information! Interesting to know that we can spawn a ram and flip zone if the keep was rank 2+ before being taken.

Many years ago you could respawn lord and close doors, but it took a long time + retaking all BOs and then running a lot of boxes. Sad that it was changed.
