Return of Reckoning

Before making this thread the total number of players was 391/400. Those are some very impressive numbers for this time of year. I'm still fresh to this server but it's the highest I have seen it since I have started playing here. I'm sure a lot of people appreciate all the hard-work the devs/mods have put into this server, I know that I am.

I have be non-aggressively promoting this server since I joined by posting pics from this server and acting like they was from live as to get more attention about WAR, more specifically this server, without downright saying join WAR:RoR click here. It might sound shady of me but it's the least I can do to help promote the server without getting my account banned on other websites.

Can the max amount of players be adjusted? I'm just curious because it seems we will be reaching the max amount of players before to long.

It can, but it shouldn't. The server is suffering through issues right now with memory leaks or the sort. If we increase the server size, that might just make things worse than it is at the moment.

Player retention isn't really high right now, I started a guild form a "gaming subforum" and we probably had 50-60 people join up that where anything from vets from live to people who never played the game once, and only about 5-8 probably are still playing scattered around.

I think once T2 is finished and keeps/PQ's are working and some of the more annoying bugs are fixed the game will retain a lot more players. And whenever T3 is released you will see a huge resurgence in players. And it only takes 1 semi-famous twitch streamer to explode the population even further.

I wouldn't be surprised if 5k+ people are interested in playing the game when T3 is out, not sure how the devs will be able to handle that though or if they would want to? As they are treating RoR as an alpha and we are "testers" rather than players. I wonder if they will ever close off registration and start only handing out "keys" or whatever to players on a as needed basis?

I wonder how soon the servers can handle four digit population numbers.

I think this server/website needs a donation panel to help them buy better servers if thats the issue.

Hardware is not the issue. Donations are not accepted and not wanted. Thus there is no Button for it to be found.
