whats best ranged caster dps for oRvR and SCs?

i see AM and shaman a lot more popular than BW and Sorcs why

For DPS I'd say magus is the best

I have a hard time taking a dps shaman seriously tbh. If I need rdps for a premade I would take sorc or magus over shaman every day of the week.

Magus I'd say, durable, lots of cc and dot dmg and scales better into late game unlike engie

That depends on the tier and what they are doing theres no best class for everything certian classes do better based on how the flow of battle is going.

Sorc and BW, how is this even a discussion? They are good in all Tiers and are great if you learn their rotations. They can also put great pressure on enemies with AoE attacks if the situation calls for it. Or you can just go single target spec and blow people up every 5 seconds.

I'd agree with magus for t2.

T1 squiggly herders are the best.
T3 and beyond is all sorc and bw
