Return of Reckoning

Ok, I've read the relevant stickies and done searches in the forum for anyone with the same issue and come up short, so my apologies if I've missed something.
Basically, it has been a long while since I last logged into the game (at least 8 months) and I just finished updating the client. When logging in, however, the character select screen is almost completely blank (see attached screenshot). What am I missing here? Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

Screenshot is missing, try checking the writing permits on the RoR Folder/subfolders and deleting the content of the cache folder.

Not sure why the ss isn't attaching...
The cache deletion sorted it out for me. Thanks very much for your assistance
