RVR : DPS then healers and tanks equally i would say, most of the tank job in rvr is trying to stay in guard range and holding htl. CC is needed aswell but not as important like in small scale

This is the way.

Tanks that guard swap make mediocre healers good and good healer great.

Every class. It doesn't matter the context. But a balance of them is most important. Think of it like this. DPS create damage pressure, Tanks mitigate damage pressure and help increase how much damage pressure the enemy takes but also how much they negate, Healers negate damage pressure.

ORvR - DPS
Org 6 Man - Tanks
Scs - Healer

Overall - Healer - Half the time just being a healer swings the battle one way or the other if the gameplay is not organized groups.

I think Tanks are far more important in ORvR than the average DPS might think, guarding is definitely not the majority of their task - considering the difference between a good tank and a mediocre tank is: the enemy team either doing 100% of their burst against your Warband or only 80% or even 50%.

ORvR: Probably everyone equally, though I'd say Tanks and Healers are more important

in RvR - Warband leader capable of calling proper shots, maneuvers.
in pug SCs - DPS who knows what he's doing

I feel Healers can get a bit vulnerable if they aren't well supported - which is where I think Tanks can control the battlefield more by properly guarding or punting away enemies from healers, low health DPS.

All roles matters!

DPS, tanks and healers works together in large and small scale. For nearly all content in game besides soloing You need tank, dps and healer. In some rare cases healer can be a dps in same time (DoK) same as 2H tank. Besides solo/duo you always need all 3 archetypes.
