Equalize the defenses!

Like the topic of this topic states I am looking to the dev team to achieve parity in the (invisable) height boxes that every character has. As ironbreakers we are somewhat limited in keep sieges and funnel situations. Besides the immense Black Orc, the langy elf and the puny human, we are encountering the problem that destruction players can actually jump over us at a keep defense. If we have a shieldwall of ironbreakers, it should be a wall of steel that is almost impossible to pass. Not an easy jump over as it is now. This is just not acceptable.

While the visual consistancy of stature of the dwarf has to remain intact I would like to argue for the invisable heightbox of the character to be the same as other tanks.We do not have the same abilities, but we do need the ability to be able to defend as other tanks can. Ensuring parity promotes a fair and balanced gameplay for all tanks, preventing any advantages or disadvantages based on size.

This means dwarves have the only racial disadvantage and its bonkers for tanks. The first time might be funny , but as a tank being hurdled is against the design of the archetype and the thought of it hurts my soul . Hopefully altering the height box is as simple as it sounds.

Just need a simple test really and record your findings, grab few friends, make 3 dwarfs, 3 black orks:
1st test - flat ground check if destro can jump over 3 IBs standing in line
2nd test - position IBs on a ramp of sorts, try jumping over their line when standing on the lower level
3rd test - position IBs on a ramp but now try jumping over them when standing on a higher level
and then do the same for said blackorks, so make a line out of them and try jumping over it in every possible combination. Having a video with confirmation would certainly support your case.
It doesn't even have to be done in RvR lakes, there's plenty of PvE keeps which would work I guess

From a technical perspective, resolving this issue would be a tall order, since potential solutions are in short supply

Know how hard it is to click on a Destro mDPS inside a melee ball as an Engi? Very. Its absolutely one of the top 3 skills a good Order rDPS has to master. And that is because of Black Orcs and Chosens, who are unreasonably tall.

I don't think we should buff IBs tho because they are the correct height and you can't improve perfection. Its everyone else that is too tall.

Make all Tanks shorter.

Lets face it though, you see a midget you jump over it, kinda realistic.

FYI mara is taller than chosen. Just use cycle/next target.
