What say you? Should SC queues be limited to max group size of 2? Personally, I think so. Creates a huge barrier to entry for newbros and where they are so prevelant, it makes the weekly SC inf a huge chore to grind through.

Weekly SC were meant to give incentives to form groups on weekends, where statistically more people have time to play together. You can still solo them but solo players are not the target audience. Don't play them if you don't want to encounter premades. I guess you want the rewards, no?

I think that's essentially the problem, if premades are the target audience, other player demographics don't play, and by that I mean, they don't play RoR period. There's limited fun in being stomped all day long.

It caters to the few at the expense of the many. Long term, I think that's designing to a small playerbase personally.

WoW designed them out of BGs, I think RoR needs to do the same. Have dedicated premade vs premade BGs, but curb stomping pugs, whilst fun for the people doing it, is just causing too much harm.

Population and people doin sc is so low that you can even queue as a single and you still have decent chances to get in the only pop sc with ur team anyway.During the last event i queue as solo while my guild had a 6 man running.without even sincronizing the queue i met em like 6 times in the 10 or so sc i did.

Yeah, it's a common knowledge that "premades" sign up as solos and duos to get into discordant, then form a premade once inside.

except that they werent queing as single or duo and was the event s,but yes what u say its true

condemn people who wish to play in an organized manner is the bane of every mmorpg.
to avoid them you got discordant scenarios, otherwise you can make premades yourself.

Why is it that people who actually spend time organizing a group—in a game that clearly emphasizes the necessity of grouping up due to specific roles (tanks, healers, and DPS) within its core design—are taken out of context like this?

For the original post i'd like to point out, certain classes can still greatly snowball even in Duo every scenario. There is a discordant scenario for people that do not wish to meet premades (and if you do I am sorry, I've brought this up so many times (and not because I am a solo player - I am fully a premade player) it's is just hard to address discordant stacking from the perspective of development and it's fully a community issue)

I only sign up for disc sc when im alone but you find premades in there still.
