Invalid target text

Hello all,
Recently every now and then I am getting a message invalid target on my screen and text. The frequency I don't think is set.
It is as if I am pressing a skill without having target. If I am on improved balance ( I am playing SM ) it uses WoH which does not require target.
I haven't played any other character recently so I am not sure if it will do it to other classes.
Has anyone encountered such an issue and if yes how they fixed it?
