Return of Reckoning

So, I'm able to login on my laptop no problem, but my desktop simply refuses to authenticate. I've followed all of the steps for fixing the fail to authenticate error but cannot get even to character selection on my desktop only. What I've done so far (some of this may be a repeat of other forums as to methods to supposedly fix this problem):

Deleted the cache folders
Tried using both launchers (RoR and Je Fawks)
Complete uninstall/reinstall
Verified folders are not flagged Read Only and changed permissions to be the folder owner
Downloaded the VPN program recommended in the Read This First post
Verified both launchers and War.exe are set to run as Administrator
Completely disabled the Windows Firewall
Changed my password to not include special characters
Restarted the computer several times

Both computers are running Windows 10 Personal Edition with fully up to date OS and drivers, but my laptop can get in the game no problem, while the desktop continually gets the Could not Authenticate error. Prior to the could not authenticate error, the status window on the right side of the screen shows no text at all indicating that it is even trying to login.

What can I do to get my desktop on par with my laptop?

I have exactly the same problem... so i contacted a developer to check via TeamViewer my PC... but he said there is no solution at the moment. Idk.. i dont think so.. there must be a solution.

Not sure what exactly changed, but I was able to login today after I got home from work on my desktop, but now my laptop can't authenticate :-S

Either way I shall see y'all in the fray as either my High Elven Bladedancer, Drebian or my Dark Elven Disciple of Khaine, Jalehe!

Sometimes a solid reboot of your PC clears up things like this. That's my first step in troubleshooting anyway. If you have any idea what it took to fix your problem, it would be a great addition to our knowledgebase regarding client/connection issues.

Unfortunately, I don't know what fixed the problem. I know one night it wasn't working and the next morning, my roommate was going to try to help me with it, so I went to show him the error. Lo and behold, it connected for me.

Now, unfortunately, the problem is back on my desktop... Was working just fine then BAM, no go... Still works just fine on my laptop, but I don't use that often as my girlfriend tends to use it to work on stuff for her small business.
