Got my invader set and accumulating crests, I am almost there.
What is best in slot for a dps shammy?
It is the first character that i bring to this point.
Which pieces sovereign should i choose? And combined with another set right like warlord?
Weapon and jewelry?
I mostly solo, small, pug sc.

For Solo / Small scale
5 off Sov+ 4 Vic , full int Gems and Nihilist Blasta staff + 4% crit Gem on ring
2x Sapphire Rings / 1x Sapphire+Exquisite Gunbad Diamond if u got money if not
Genesis Aspect/Remnant of Scholar. Food : Genius (5% magic crit+60wounds)
For MP spec all same exept 5 pieces of warlord + MP gem on ring
I do prefer crit over magic power setup but this is just my playstyle i quess. All best
Almost forgot u need Vic Head + Gloves for Spell penetration otherwise it just doesnt work
-Fish

Tyvm!!
I notice that I enjoy having high damage on my dots, so should I focus on magic power rather than crit chance?

MP vs Crit is about the people you're targeting and what their -chance to be crit is. Not whether you want high damage dots or not.

Can you expand on the differences between MP and Crit builds as far as play goes?
Thanks

3OSov/3Warlord/3Victorious is BIS, same as DPS AM. You can reference my guide below if you like.
7/2 has merit for the extra crit, especially because dot applications count as hits and the crit proc is bugged and stacking with other synergies right now. However, it's squishy and has way less stats overall.

Any reason to go vic rather than trium?
I was thinking 3sov/3warlord/3trium
Why 3 Vic?
Thanks

Because Triumphant is a Heal Set

Have you done any testing on this, by chance? I have the numbers for sov/vict mix vs. war/vict mix (war/vict mix wins btw*) but I don’t believe I have the gear to test a 3/3/3 mix. Just don’t see how it would be better than 6% (2 or 3% in reality) mag crit (sov/vict) or 99 mag power (war/vict). Thoughts?
*Disclaimer - These tests were run prior to losing the burst tactics and the more recent changes to strike through.
I have also been wondering, since the changes to strike through, if a crit build would now outperform a magic power build due to the increased number of disrupts. Curious to see your thoughts on that as well.
