Return of Reckoning

Hello All-

Since returning to RoR after the Medallions etc turned to Warcrests, I've been struggling with my Engineer gaining Warcrests- I was pretty close to having enough Medallions for SoV- but when I came back, I was no where near what I need in Warcrests. I've been really trying for Warcrests and it's a real struggle, kind of like I'm starting all over again (which is OK I guess, but could really put off returning players) I'm about 4k Warcrests since returning and I'll keep pounding on it.

What was the exchange rate for Medallions vs Warcrests? I kind of feel I got ripped off here-

Also trying some new builds, and I notice I struggle with softcap on Ballistics In full Warlord/Genesis with +22 and +23 Talismans. I'm also noticing my Wepon Skill is only at 20%. How important is that for a Snipe Engi?

They had a post in the forums a couple weeks before they made the change warning people to spend medallions because the conversion rate would be terrible. I felt ripped off as many others did, you're not alone. The warcrests are much easier to earn. Do your weekly sc and rvr and try to get into as many forts as you can using the quests from your city. Both Empire and Elf have them. You can do quite well in an organized grp farming kills. Engi has seen some nerfs, it is still ok but nowhere near where you may remember it. You might wana read through some past posts.

Yea I guess, I really haven't kept up on RoR in a while, and really sifting through all the forums isn't on my "to do" list but I should at some point sift through and find some answers. Thanks for the tip on weekly stuff- I work weekends typically and my free time is kinda the servers transition times from NA to EU... odd times, but it's still worth it. As for Organized WB's... as an Engi I'm constantly "Autoband Kicked"... too many DPS. No worries tho- when it comes to keep or fort, I typically get and invite.
