Friendly Hello's to all,



-Iv extracted all files from "RoRInstaller-December2024.zip"

-when I run the RORinstaller , the bar gets to abour 70% and says "the following file is missing: art.myp

-then when i check the folders I can see art.myp inside

Im sure many have experienced this, SOLUTION?

How did you download the game was it from torrent? And followed all the steps in the thread below?

Did you find a solution?? Just tried installing today and got the same issue

unfinished/corrupted download most likely or extraction is incomplete.
zip file should be around 15.6GB.
make sure its fully downloaded.

I have the same prolbem.
Downloaded through the direct link. The download starts as 0 from 15.6 gb and continues to download until 1.7 gb at which point it stops without giving an error.

Running the installer will show the beforementioned error when the green bar is progressing in the installer.

Yeah okay I found the solution:

You need to turn off the browser addblockers when visiting the download page which you get redirected to. I just tried using Microsoft edge instead of Firefox (I use Firefox with uBlock origin). That solved it for me.

Using addblockers will block the user license agreement from appearing in the download site. When you start a download with addblockers, the site will cancel the download after some delay. Thats why sometimes I had 600 mb and at other time 1.8 GB progress.

Someone should definitely tell the moderators/hosts/admins to mention this in the install instructions.
