Return of Reckoning

Returning player from about 5 years ago.
I have a level 32 character with only 148 War Crests (rr39 so that's good).
I was watching a youtube video about current leveling and it stated that once you create a character you should not use your War Crests until you hit 40, because once you lose "bolster". The new armor you purchase from War Crests will help you.

Looks like ive spent my War Crests while leveling years ago.
The question is, should I keep with the level 32 and suffer through level 40 to get enough War Crests, or reroll fresh to allow the gathering?
My character is a Witch Hunter so gonna be super squishy after the character loses "bolster".

U need to go pve gungeons gunbad-crypt-bastion u will get good gear from there. No need to create new char if you ok with WH, your progress is not ruined. In pve gear from those dungeons u can normally play till you reach endgame gear.

I wouldn't bother rerolling.

U can buy every PvP set whilst leveling and still have enough crests for full conq at 40/45 as long as you spend most of ur time pvping. With your current level and renown rank, you should be just fine.

Its only really in tier 4 where saving crests becomes worthwhile. Skipping vanq and invader sets will save u a lot of crests, making it easier to get BiS.

Also worth noting that it is still entirely possible to rank up and buy all the main PvP sets on the way. It might be a bit slower, but I did this on my BO and was still in full SoV a day after hitting rr80.
