Return of Reckoning

Hi there,

I installed the game a few months ago, couldn't make it work, I abandoned.

And yesterday I came back.

I downloaded the game again, installed it in F:\ (F:\ReturnOfReckoning) because in C:/ I don't have much place.

I followed the instructions in the sticky thread here.

Then I launched the launcher, and again like a few months ago, it downloads files then stops at 93/95, and the message error is

Error (ArchiveAsset Art 962cf11b46a35542 7103dc82) Unknown (retry count: 5)!

I read other threads so I deleted Art file, but then the laucher said a file was missing...so I give it the file back.

My Norton antivirus fully authorize RoR (I set it to authorize).

So what to do? The files also keep coming back to "Read only".

Cannot play the game to sum it up. My computer is from 2012 (one of the best in this era). The game is old, so this shouldn't be a problem, right?

was the (installer) zip file fully downloaded and extracted without errors? ~15.6GB

I could only read your reply now, was busy all the day long...

yes the installer (zip) file was fully dl-ed and extracted w/o errors.

However my F:\ReturnOfReckoning is only 13,8 Go (14 913 521 232 octets).

My zip file (un-extracted) is elsewhere though.

If it doesn't help, I will reinstall, that would be the third time, not sure it's the problem but let's hope.

I replaced the Art file by the new Art file, launched the Launcher, then it downloads,then

Error (ArchiveAsset Art 962cf11b46a35542 b48d907a) Unknown (retry count: 5)!

So same error, nearly same message^^

What I am doing wrong? I copy the new art I dl thanks to your link, xpander, to the game files of the game, replacing the old Art, then launch the launcher, but same error^^

(I am PC o' course, so no problem there)

There was a new patch today. So the art.myp was already outdated.
Seems you have some sort ISP issue downloading the updates then. Have you tried with VPN?

I tried dl your new file, but it stopped midway as if the dl was completed (?!),without doing anything on my part (and doing nothing else on my computer), so not usable...

I think I will dl the entire game again, but my internet is very slow, that's probably the reason of the problems (files then are corrupted).

Dunno how VPN works, will try.

In the meantime, because it will take time to dl again, thanks so far, I will probably come back here again in some time if it doesn't work again.

Just that I just did read another topic in this forum, looks like I am in the same boat than other people. Will wait for a fix then.

Why did the dl of the file provided by you xpander stopped midway though? An explanation?

are you using firefox? it seems there are some issues with firefox recently with not finishing the downloads... In that case try a different browser.

nah using google chrome, but I am in another attempt. Should work eventually if I keep trying hard, or so I guess
