Just read S.N.U.F.F by Victor Pelevin, I strongly recommend this book
also been reading persian poetry like the poem of Simurg bird and Five dialogues about good and evil by Solovyev, wish me luck Tolstoy is next

What a great thread!!!
Ill definitely read some persian poetry; hopefully the english translation doesn't ruin it. Im writing a thesis on continental philosophy so i might find some interesting stuff there. Thank you OP!!
I've only watched Anna Karenina at the theater so i cant really tell about Tolstoy's wriitng skills
You should definitely check out Checkov's works though. Happy reading
