[Suggestion] Purple seeds

In order to 'prevent' loosing purple seeds due to different circumstances connected with crashes etc

I have a suggestion to make purple seeds similar to bestial token rewards:
  • when player gets purple seed, this character receives respective tome unlock
  • put purple seed npc vendor in faction capitals
  • based on tome unlock allow/disallow to buy back purple seed, in case of loosing original one, binded to character
I see this a good QOL feature which many people would be glad to have and potentially it could be more easier to implement this mechanism rather than fixing root cause of seed disappearance.

Did you happen to lose a purple seed recently? I want to say there was a fix put in for that many months back -- but let us know if it happened to you or someone you know in the last few weeks.

One challenge with this idea that comes to mind is that a player could purchase multiple purple seeds once they have the unlock, multiplying their output from a single seed up to four instantly. Tome unlocks can definitely work as a purchase mechanic, but they don't have any limiters that restrict you.

Cannot seeds made like jewerly slots, with "unique" keyword which can prevent them being cultivated more than one slot at a time ?

Wasnt the problem with loosing purple seeds when ur inventory was full and u logged out or crashed while cultivating? should still happen i bet, just dont wanna test it.

@Rubius, I personally dont brew, but people in the guild still discussing this issue from time to time, if it is really not the case anymore, I apologize, and you can close this topic
