[Chosen] Doom vs Fort 2H?

Doom
+98 stat points (if you count the wep skill on the Fort Wep)
+Corp damage dot
+slower wep (bigger AA)
-6% crit

Both have the same speed proc.

Basically, unless you're going for a higher Crit 2H build, DOOM > Fort Wep.

ofc - unless you are playing with corruptive power build there is not much reason to run fort weapon

as far as hand of malal, the reactionary proc doesn't stack with suppression so it's not worth it over other options

darkpromise weapons are also worth looking at on 2h tanks, mainly those who don't benefit as much from reactionary proc due to the parry not stacking with a self buff. they are bis for max parry builds in instanced gameplay (SC/city) where the movespeed proc doesn't provide much and you want as much passive as possible to stop front punts, snares, reduce cleave damage taken, lessen the potency of numbing strike/drop da basha and parry guard damage

I am sorry for partially derailing* the thread but I can't seem to find solid info on the matter: is there any place, a post by Devs or something, detailing what buffs stack with what skills and what doesn't?

I am very close to the vanquisher set on both my kotbs and my chosen and given the proc I was considering getting it on both, either as a pre defensive sov. set on kotbs (who will go full tank), or as a tank set to step into LV (and get blissful dp as last tank set) on the chosen (where I'd prefer to save the crests for 2h oriented sets).
I was also told that the proc from the set stacked with suppression (and I guess with coordination+shield bash), isn't that the case?

Unfortunately, no.
Vanq/triu/sove/weapon avoid procs do not stack with skills. They also do not stack with tactics such as coordination. They only stack with tactics whose descriptions do not refer to the use of a specific skill, e.g., the BG/BO parry tactic, which stacks with avoid procs.
However, all skills/tactics/buffs stack with potions/liniments.
BG/BO performs best in this regard.

Which Darkpromise do you think is better, the Axe or the Sword? Seems like Axe offensive, Sword defensive.

The sword gives you 4% parry.

The axe gives you more strength and 2% crit.

i was describing the parry darkpromise weapon (Darkpromise Changeblade) in my post. the crit one is bad, worse than fort weapon for corruptive power builds

Oh yea I see the fort weapon have +6% crit, much better.

Do you have a build for the parry build, curious what tactics would be used.
