Counter to Mara pull?

Mara pull is formally 75ft. as I understand. This doesn’t seem to be correct in real terms. I have many many experiences of being pulled from much farther away. I assume this will be addressed at some point.
My question is about counters. Is there any way to counter the pull? I have an AM and SW and thus far nothing seems to work: detaunt, M1, nothing in the roster of options will stop it I know of. Maybe I am wrong, so I wanted to check.

Like wildwindblows said, it can be disrupted. Besides that, have your tank always on the lookout for a pull; a good one will always taunt to interrupt and save you every time Mara tries to pull anyone. Other than that, I am not sure if AM/SW got any tools to interrupt it, which I think there are none other than disrupt.
P.S. I think M2 Focused Mind or something for AM should ignore every CC in the game but I am not so sure about it. Gotta test it out or wait for more experience AM to answer.

SW concealment m1 disrupts pull. Prob only way outside morale to 100% negate it is SMs Vaul tempering, but they usually dont use it. For some reason focus mind dont save from punts/pulls, same with golden shield tactic from AM.

On SW GB glass arrow should work and reduce the range, not sure it does tho. If you're super fast range knockdown, but need to be close
Otherwise an IB friend with oathstone, SM with vault can give you immovable for 6s

Silence also stops the pull, issue with mara pull is that interrupting it won't do anything. It'll be just casted again till it goes off, countering mara pull is one of the most unrewarding things to do since the ability won't go on a cooldown till its casted.
Would be nice if taunting mara pull atleast added some sort of cooldown to it, could be 10s cd or something if its successfully interrupted.

You can also interrupt it with Silence. Like Bw ranged Silence will interrupt it. I miss the days where you had actual counters to things like this. Sw/Sh/Wh/We self punt used to be great counter to pulls, but these skills have been hyper nerfed " cannot use while airborne " lol why everything can be used while airborne except these where it makes sense to use while airborne.
Also i think they should bring back the "bug" that lets you ignore mara pull if you jump at the right time, then bring back engi/magus aoe pull from keep/fort walls and do same for pounce, you can pounce to keep walls. Make abilities OP again!

But for some reason this is not applied in reverse, and you can be pulled while punting away...

You can interupt and silence,plus any los will interupt it immediately

The issue with this, is that if mara pull is interrupted it counts as canceling ability, not activating its CD. So mara can start a second pull ASAP. Unlike disrupting when the ability goes on CD.
