I have fights with both dw and 2h setup in this clip, tried to choose back to back fights for both specs.
I really think that dw is just plain boring compared to 2h, but it does work, and it is strong. There just isnt much of a rotation other than keep hitting and parry away.

Ib really is a bit off atm, I tried to get the hang of it but all I got it to do is parry and spam dots. It was pre potion patchg tho, so now i get higher stats. I would love to use the high crit he gets, but there just isnt offensive tactics or base dmg to build on to

Im not sure if gnm is even enough at this point to help 2h ib.. even with that the class would still suffer from not gaining any grudge against rdps. Against melee it would be better for sure but I feel like the ib/bg mechanic might need some looking into it. Ofc this is just solo issues since they're fine in wb play when it comes to the class mechanic.

Solo 2h IB without GnM is dead. Even solo 2H Knight is better now.

It does feel really weak. *Im speaking from enemy pov, the 2h ibs I've faced have barely put up fight at all.

Im still not sure if gnm is enough to "save" 2h ib tho. From what I've understood ib cannot really build up grudges if hes being kited by casters/rdps so gnm is basically useless against the enemies he struggles the most against. Against melees its strong but tanks generally are quite good into mdps anyway.

I am not sure why 2h ib feels so weak compared to other tanks, maybe its the kit or the mechanic just makes it feel bad for solo play?

The dot build is fairly simple. but with crit build I still had problems to make it really hit hard. I did get some decent channels IF I sat on grudge (full grudge is harsh requirement btw, would like it to be like 90-100 instead) to get full buffs on channels and dots. but Even then, for the effort and trade ins you do to accomplish that (not to spent grudge prior channel) I t wasnt that great, to lightarmor maybe 600 max per hit on channel, to medium 4-500.

This was pre potion rework tho, now he has higher stats as buffs stack with potions. Will try it again someday, maybe with FO!

ps. IB grudge mechanic is also kinda brutal on solo as dots only give you 1 tick of grudge per dot. So basically if you face magiis full dot barrage, you still don't have enough grudge to get the absorb

Does Ib have an ability to convert ap to grudge? Also making the full grudge requirements less strict sounds like a wonderful idea. The highest bonus could already be achieved at 80 grudge or something like that which would give the class some more headroom for mistakes.
