WE is now dead

hello,
After the dps patch my first impression about WE was good until I play WH. these are more or less mirror classes but it feels like WH now way more strong then WE. Since WE lost range of his finishers and reduced dmg of her finishers its not worth to play anymore. So as a WE main i will protest the current balance between WH/WE and i stop playing my witch elf.
I invite all the witch elves to join me and stop playing their WE's.

As glass cannon, WH is significantly stronger than WE... HOWEVER... WE def regen (4 piece off sov, armour/tough talis and 4 piece vict, grimshimmer) is stronger than WH def spec and I believe def WE still beats BAL WH.
So... That's balanced + classes are not homogenised so both have elements of their own coolness. I personally love that approach, each class should have something cool about them.
I do think WE losing range on finishers hurts a ton more than people realise for def spec though, you can't kite out of damage to regen half as much now and your regen doesn't keep up, it makes fights much closer.
I'd probably give WH the edge overall.

Why avoid playing regen? You're ignoring the meta if you go glass cannon, play a WH if you want to burst people down, WE is about dots/lots of tickle damage with good defenses. If you want WE to burst like a WH then huge changes would be needed to balance that out.

Most of the WE's playing regen because its mirror has parry skill which makes them hard to kill.

I dont agrree with you, old RA build was very good in dmg vise. each RA was critting around 1.2k which means 5k in 3secs. WE had more burst than WH before.
