Return of Reckoning

A possible new ability for upcoming ranged patch.

Waystalk/ Shadowblend/ other name:

Blends the shadowwarrior into the foliage making them 70% chameleon for 30s and hiding their name as long as they stand still. 2minute cooldown.

Plays into the lore and aesthetic of the class. Situational and not likely to be overpowered. Lots of fun opportunities for the spell I could imagine.

Also not a proper stealth like wh/we and only while standing still.

Heh would be cool, if it would save from tab key spam. But it can be new interesting fresh mechanic and indeed fits their style as ambushing ninja stalkers.

Sadly, the stealth is reserved for a 2 certain classes. Thus, SW's role is to an guerilla elven archer who has no guerilla skills and can't shoot as far as gobbo archer can. Quite good in melee or AoE zerg surfing though.

I'm expecting that after the rework SW will be even better in melee...while being an archer who is worse than green mushroom with a bow made from few sticks and dung.

You may be hiding, but unless you are immune to tabbing, its irrelevant.
