Why is it that no matter where you go, even on an illegal private server for a defunct game, you'll encounter admins with a stick up their ass and no sense of humor? Is it the appeal of power to those who are otherwise powerless in their general lives?

Because it wasnt funny, and made in poor taste on a very serious situation happening across the world?

Furthermore RoR is only illegal if the devs accept, profit or receive any type of monetary gain from this server

Also on the second point, I was referring to the copyright infringement from EA and more directly Games Workshop. You have to renew your license to utilize an IP like Warhammer.

Because such useless comments in a new player post are better kept to yourself.

GW and EA throw cease and desists around like they are party favors, I was wondering what would happen if they found out about this too

I'm doing a study of Stockholm Syndrome and it occurred to me the players of RoR, at least those that browse the forums, would be excellent subjects.

Would have been funny aimed at a known player that you had a relationship with to make those jokes. Its just you trying to look big by making fun of someone new that was hoping to get a welcome. Its behaviour straight out of the playground.
