I'm curious as to whether the devs would ever allow us fans based outside of Europe to host a mirror on their behalf?

I'm based in Aus and would happily offer my rack space, depending on how heavy the requirements are..

I'm also in Aus, would be great but sadly the player base as is, is already far too low for a second server.

also, id suspect there wouldn't even be enough oceanic players to warrant a server here.

highly unlikely since the vast majority of players are EU. if I could make a conservative guess I'd say maybe 70-75% EU, with 10-15% being NA and the remainder sprinkled across the rest of the world. additionally, splitting up this small community even more probably wouldn't be a great idea.

The developers do everything they can, and more, to maintain the server.

As players and beneficiaries of this server, we should try to spread the word about the game: Facebok, Instagram, Twitch, YouTube... every new soldier counts. If you see RoR videos on any social media, like and comment to help the algorythm to spread the word

Tell your friends about the game, whether online or not, and encourage them to try it

That's a nice thought. Completely naive, but still a nice thought.

I have invited 2 or 3 people to play and spread the word to a few others online.

Unfortunately it's difficult being based in Australia and only having high ping options. I'd be happy to host a copy on an Aus server here and abide by whatever rules RoR want, but I also understand entrusting a random with that kind of stuff might not feel great for the devs!
