Hi everyone,

Wanted to give an early heads-up on a couple things you're going to see in the next month or two. Often we wait for the patch to do this, but as this will adjust current stats on some items in-game now, we wanted to share this info ahead-of-time with you all:

Image

1. New Twilight's Tide Ring: Moonstone

A new gem, Moonstone, is being added to the Twilight's Tide event. This electric blue gem will provide Wounds and Initiative, and the Annulus version will grant 2% Block as its bonus stat. We've seen requests for a Block version of these rings for years, and after testing the waters with the Bastion Stair rings, we're now launching the new line of Moonstone rings next week!

2. Updated Blood-Iron Rings

We originally called the Block Ring in Bastion Stair "Citrine", because Citrine was a crit reduction everywhere else, but that didn't make sense for our Khorne-themed bonuses there. These Block Rings will be renamed to "Moonstone", and their stats adjusted from Wounds + Toughness into Wounds + Initiative, so that the stats and bonus are unified and follow the same pattern whenever a player sees "Moonstone" on a ring in the future.

Similarly, the Bastion Stair Diamond Rings will now follow the same stats as the other versions, and will soon grant Wounds + Toughness instead of Initiative + Wounds.

3. New Vale Rings

Starting this summer (either on June 12th or in the July patch), Moonstone rings will also become an option for players to choose when building a ring in the Lost Vale Dungeon.

That's all for now - we'll see you soon when Twilight's Tide returns next week, on June 12th!

Hey, thanks for adding another ring.

I think the Armor Penetration ring is currently a bit underwhelming compared to the other options. As far as I know, Critical Strike is widely considered the hardest stat to obtain in the game, which makes the crit ring much more attractive.

In my opinion, the Armor Penetration ring should provide 2% Armor Penetration instead of 1%. Right now, it's hard to justify choosing it, since 1% Armor Penetration is relatively easy to obtain through other sources, such as the 22 Weapon Skill talismans.

Increasing it to 2% would make the ring a more competitive and meaningful choice without making it overpowered.

Wow make tanks more tanky what a brilliant idea. We definitely need more tanky tanks. That is it, that's the main problem we are facing with the game right now and you solved it. It was so easy all along. What a genius move. I have another great idea for you. Make dps do 0 DMG, that would also be a great concept you should look into imo. The clue is to also make DPS have 0 Armor to compensate for the 0 DMG. Maybe you can nerf the anulus rings to they provide -1000 str and -3000 Armor. Welcome to ROT return of tanks.

Yup, because tanks don't melt fast enough when punted into the blob right now. And the fact that 50 ilvl blue accessory from gunbad is BiS right now is perfectly fine too.

My request for the twilight's tide event is to re-open the talisman slot on existing annulus rings (for 2 weeks or however long it lasts on a new ring) to give some reason to pick up the talisman making skill this time around.
