Can we please do something about SC backfilling?

Straight to the point.
When a game starts, as in the game begins (not the waiting area) could the system please try to maintain that balance and size, throughout the SC?
I find it utterly game ruining that virtually 4/5 games, may start with say 6v6'ish and then 5-6-7minutes in you're suddenly close to 18v18. It's not fun for the people who fought initially and it isn't fun for the ones joining late either.
Unless its a leaver/DC, please for the love of god, stop adding higher numbers to ongoing SC's.
Is it a matter of limited capacity that prevents us from just having more SC's spawned? If so, that sucks but at least then I can see the problem. If not, could you kindly look into how this whole "backfilling/adding numbers to ongoing SC's" operates.
