[Shield WP] Pious Restoration scaling off Strength

Since Healing Hand now scales off strength when wearing a shield, how about Pious Restoration ? Its healing output is pretty weak as shield healer, and making it scale off Strength would help at sustaining groupmates in case you're being kited or got punted
The left tree has Word of Wisdom and Divine Warding, which are quite helpful for shield spec, it's I'd say a missed opportunity for Pious Restoration to not be as helpful

Nope. If Dps Wp/Dok cannot have their Spirit dmg melee heal abilities + Transfer essence/Sigmars radiance(Melee grp heal<3) when you give Tome/Chalice user ability to use Melee Grp heal skill, but still leave out the original spec that actually used it? AND yet you give Shield spec ability to use 10s Root/Snare immunity...
Healing hand shouldnt scale off str, this is band aid solution to a bigger problem. That problem basically being that RoR made very close to perfect Shield Melee heal spec, it was divine! But, it was "Too Op" but nobody seemed to realize that it was too OP because they added the shield, so remove the shield and keep the skills right?
lOl nope. They made Sacrifice break if you move and this destroys this abilitys whole purpose to exist... Ability to heal your party while doing dmg to yourself whilst running back to your party/enemies to hit and heal again.
Then they removed 10s channel that gives 10% block dodge disrupt AND it has 225 absorb for all ranged dmg that refreshes itself every 1 second. Amazing ability! And it was for whole Grp, that made it a bit OP with the shield.
Then this... 25% Increased melee healing tactic + Divine strike hitting 2 extra targets(but only with shield...JGNSJ) again remove the goddamn shield, and make it heal 100% instead of 150% of the dmg and its fixed!

No, please.
It's already an abomination that Healing Hand scales with Strenght; let's not add more abominations to the shield WP.
A shield WP should be a lifetaper, not a caster.
What the shield WP needs is for the portion of its lifetaps to be larger within its heals (right now, a Sigmar Radiance is approximately 15% lifetap and 85% casted and debuffable heals), and for the amount of heals per damage to be greater (either by making it hit in spiritua damage, or by increasing the damage).
If we don't want to revert it to how it was before the healer patch, which would be ideal, the fix is simple.
But please, not more casted heals on WP
Furthermore, all of Salvation's abilities should only be usable with a book. (Divine Light, Word of Wisdom, Touch of the Divine, and Healing Hand, etc)

I'd say the point could be that you could play your shield healers in various ways, as a hybrid lifetap-caster, or full lifetap as you say, I don't see why it should be restricted to one way only, as it makes the spec a bit dull in the long run
I do not mind having range on some abilities, because you're not worthless if you're not constantly glued to someone, and having absorbs aside from lifetaps is also an interesting option for a more hybrid playstyle if you're interested in it
Regarding Divine Light specifically, I think it was a more interesting ability as a single target absorb with no cooldown, than an a 40sec cooldown full party, most of the absorb you put is not used as about half of your group is in the bakcline, not taking damage, while someone on frontline is being targeted, and you can't put repeatedly a Divine Light on this specific ally to help at sustaining him while you're trying to reach melee range, it's rather annoying to endure, and greatly lowers skillcap regarding RF management and proper ally selection
Regarding what Sinisterror says, I can understand the points, the full rework wasn't necessary in the first place, the spec needed tweaks and ajudstments, like Sacrifice being castable while moving, i'd agree with that ; however I'd say the shield is an interesting choice because it makes it easy for everyone to spot which warrior priest is a damage dealer and which is a healer
