adjusting tab targeting range?

Apparently the tab targeting system only works at a range of about ~80ft, which seems like a disadvantage for any ranged classes who have abilties that can go off at distances of 100-150ft.

In order to make use of the range of your class you would have to click target to cast your spells from afar.

To put it the other way round as a ranged class you would have to get unnecessarily close to your target to actually use the tab targeting.

Don't know if this ever came up, thought I'd share...

It makes sense. Even on my WE, I sometimes feel like I need that extra range when tab-targeting.

Agree. Tab range should match render range (which should also be higher).

It's most likely somewhere in the client code. This code is not available to the RoR team so it cannot be changed.
