Guildinvolve & banner movementspeed

Hello,
In the past Ive had idea sessions and sparing conversations with other players and some devs. We didnt manage to agree on this idea, but with some more thinking over the years Id like to attempt it again with more finetuning.
The core idea is to make roaming in RvR with a guild standard bearer more appealing and functional, as a downgraded alternative for roleplay purpos to mounts.
Currently the differences between running mounted and with guild banner out of combat are as follows:
- Guildbanner is maximum 45% movementspeed
- Guildbanner instantly loses the movementspeed on damagetake for the bearer
- Guildbanner instantly loses the movementspeed on damagetake for allies too.
- Mount have standard 60% chance of dismount uppon damagetake
- Guildmounts have 45% chance to dismount uppon damagetake
- One banner cost 2gold
- lvl 38 60% horse last forever and cost 100g
First lets tackle the goldsink. If Guildbanners became too meta and used, the "fear" would be that the game loses one of its biggest goldsinks to remove gold out of the game. Fair enough, that is why I think banners should never be flat out better. But I think they can still be made good enough that those soft roleplay guilds who want to roam in formation with a standard bearer should have that option. It would look epic, and i think it would boost their fun.
Banners should always be slower than mounts, thats a given. But the dismounting and speedloss is probably the real deal-breaker atm.
If a roleplay guild was to have this system and only use banners as transportion, chances are they would still continue buying their lvl 40 mounts.
Suggestion 1:
- When a guild signs up for an rvr map with the command .guildinvolve gold is paid from the guildvault and the assigned guildroster standard bearers now have a granted ability while holding a banner to give 50% movementspeed Charge to all guildmembers within 50ft for 4seconds. This speed is lost uppon pressing abilities from the affected allies. And the standard granted ability doesn not work 30seconds after the standard bearer have just pulled out his banner, or picked it up again after it was planted. This is to prevent unintented uses to get movementspeed outside of the intented situations.
Suggestion2:
- A seperate command is made also with a goldcost sink like guildinvolve, it could be ".guildrepresent". The guildmembers of the guild can now move under guildbanner movementspeed 50% with a 60% chance to lose speed uppon taking damage or pressing abilities. This speed is lost when the standard bearer puts the banner down or stoves it away.
Should this idea come to life, should it be used. Then the old mythic leftover idea of getting trophies and decorating your guild's standard with captured emblems of rival guilds, be looked into and expanded uppon.
