Return of Reckoning

Hello i got told some time ago when i started with Warhammer, that WS is better in WB play and STR better Solo/Smallmen.

Is there a mathematicly Reason for this? Did someone made a good testing he/she can show?

I tried only on a Target Dummy and regardless of the Skill i use : STR did more damage.

I only wanna see proofs, not "gutfeelings" or "rumors", thx alot

I can say that you want str high as possible against low armor class like bw, sorc, w.e, wh, sh, sw. WS performs against medium/high armor classes.

Target Dummy has 0 armor so ws doesn't valid. On the other hand Training construct behaves like a medium armor class so you can test against it.

Need to summon Only for math proof.

Don't have a proof for ST builds ready, but here are some calcs regarding AOE wb builds.

You will notice that WS tali builds perform much better than STR tali builds, regardless of if the final tactic you use is Brute Force, Flanking, or Widespread Demolition.

EDIT: Since those calcs were performed, we've had an increase of the average armor of characters by about 264 (due to new armor pot values). Therefore, you can expect the WS to STR difference to be even greater.

For ST it will almost always be STR talismans that perform better whenever the 1600 armor debuff is up on your target (less need for armor pen and in general better DB coefficients for ST abilities).
