What about a system that rewards you for not cross realming? Some kind of reward system for each consecutive day that you log onto the same faction. The rewards (medalions, or emblems etc...) could get larger each week that you do not log over to the other side. Also, if you do log onto the other side it resets your rewards and you get smaller rewards again until you have proven yourself to the realm by not crossrealming. This is just an initial thought but I think if everyone contributes some ideas we could build a system that doesn't discourage crossrealming as much as it encourages sticking to your home realm.

EDIT: It's easy to forget, but so long as this game is free, anti-crossrealming measures can always be circumvented by having two accounts. One for Order, one for Destro. I forget this myself sometimes.

Maybe warpforged appearance gear? WF gear / 100 RR weapons (appearance only) only available to non-xrealmers.

Yes! These are some great ideas. I didn't play towards the end of live but did they have new mount skins? Maybe that could be a bonus as well.

ok well i mean i just started an IB but i can tell you right now....if you add tyrant cloaks for alt apperance i grarruntee that ever player here who has a blorc will not xrelm

I had an idea maybe adding a currency for time played on a character only for appearance items

Two accounts are certainly possible but over time not really feasable once Tier 4 is here since you would have to devote so much time to each to max RR and gear them out. This would certainly be a long term fix.

2 accounts or both sides on one, no difference. All suggestions here fix nothing.


Btw, realm pride has nothing to do with rewards.

I really like the idea of visual appearance items, perhaps back banners in the form of visual only cloaks
