Sorry if it has been posted, I couldn't find a search feature. My question is, will there be character wipes or can I put effort into playing my character fully?

Max will try his best to avoid any character wipes. He has backups (from god knows when). In case of a critical disaster, and they can be restored.

Ok, I understand accidents, that is fine! 
I was just worried that there was a scheduled wipe for everyone.

While I have you, I tried the Choppa and it is broken (Berzerk). Any suggestions on careers that have complete or playable mechanics?

No class mechanics are working. Some are more broken than others, granted. Just play any or all for the time being. yes we try to avoid character whipes at all cost thats why we only allow you to play till lvl 10 and only tier 1 so far
