Return of Reckoning

My friend is having issues with RoR, we know it needs to be taken off read only but every time my friend does that it reverts. Apparently this is an issue with Windows 7, we've tried a few different things but nothing has worked, wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they fixed it.

I am currently having the same exact problem. I cant play until i know how to fix it. also im on windows 10 so i dont think thats the problem.

I found the solution, using "Windows 10", select all files, then right click, properties, then tick "UNBLOCK" then untick "READ ONLY" and "APPLY"

Then the game should load, this worked for me

Im on windows 10, but when you get to properties the only 2 ticks are ''Ready only'' and ''Hidden''

I already have those on..ughh this sucksssssssssssss

this is my only problem to fix then i can play

Bumping this post. I cannot uncheck my "Read only" either, every time I do it reverts. Then when I try and launch the RoR launcher I get a message stating "the parameter is incorrect"

i just have the red and yellow server squares :/ not even a message

*bump*

I had to reinstall the game after changing graphic settings. Couldn't get into the game after the graphic change. And now the read-only is stuck.
