actually in sc warband frames works fine,maybe it can help somehow fix open rvr warband ?

on your keyboard (seems to be the real topic here^^)
try using autohotkey, this way you can bind another key you don't use that often (like F12 or something like that) to a letter, then put said script in your autostart folder and live a happy life
