Greenskin riding dark elf mount

Title says it all. I saw a gobbo sitting on a Cold One. My heart leaped in my chest for a moment: Are we allowed to ride other races' mounts? Could my BG trade his stupid anachronic ugly depressing jerky T-Rex for a real mount, a Chaos steed? Not a chance I guess, that was maybe a glitch, a graphical mirage, or am I allowed to dream? Any clues?

ive also seen dark elfs riding wolves and humans/empire riding dwarf gyros

Agreed, seeing it's purely just a bug that results in added fun/flavor and doesn't effect gameplay at all
