Hello dear guys, today i was once again troubled by "Skill Notes" - (how i see it)
1)"Damaging" - pure dps skills.
2)"Hex" -curse (magic?), maybe with part of DOT in it.
3)"Debuff"- negative buff on enemy.
4)"Ailment"- type of Poison or insta (range?) damage , maybe with part of Debuff in it.
5)"Curse" - type of Poison or insta (melee?) damage , maybe with part of Debuff in it.
6)"Blessing"- boost that grant you effects ,whitch you cant get in normal way (Absorbation,CRit, or somthing more powerful) time zone 1-30sec.
7)"Buff"- applying boost on you , whitch gives mere effcts move speed or AP,armor but these effecsts weaker than theirs "Blessing" equivalent.
8)"Enchantment"- that type of boost most comon known by players as = "BUFF" word,whitch grants enchantments to ur target or whole party,time zone 10-60 min.
9)"Defensive" -??? does they just got tired of "BUFF" word?) look at skill "HOLD THE LINE" (all tanks has it as BUFF, but KOBTS= DEFENSIVE).
Did devs put type skill notes on skill by RANDOM?, exemple :
Magus dots
1)"Baleful Transmogrification" - HEX type (mere single target dot);
2)"Glean Magic" - HEX type (AOE DOT+AOE deBUFF);
3)"Pandemonium"- HEX type (AOE DOT);
4)"Seed of chaos"- HEX type (AOE DOT+explosion at the end of effect);
but
5)"Infernal Blast" - Damaging type (AOE DOT).
Or Sword master -
"Ensorcelled Blow" A quick precision slash that calls out the enchantment in your blade dealing SPIRIT X DAMAGE.
HEX type, but why isnt it "DAMAGING" at first place , i didnt see any HEX part in it , Maybe it about tactic -
"Ensorcelled Agony" Ensorcelled Blow will now cause an additional X SPIRIT DAMAGE over X SECONDS. but anyway its strange.
So can we trust "Skill notes" at all?
