What happens after the 'alpha phase'? Will we ever not be in alpha? What's the goal/end game? Is this a proof of concept to get a legitimate copyright holder to relaunch with limited permission to acquire resources for infrastructure improvements?

sega have the exclusive license of warhammer fantasy since 2013 for 5 years, forget about any type of copyright with warhammer fantasy ip, the best scenario for ROR is a filtration of his server client like with sw galaxy and still like a private server for educational purposes.

I'd assume that beta comes after alpha.....

alpha is probably just referring to the amount of released/finished content.

"beta" would probably be 40/80 and all PvP up to city stage 3 finished?

live would be a 99% finished game/scripts

It would probably just be what it used to be before the shutdown. Jaycub I believe has it right about the title Alpha and Perche has good points about the servers future as well. At this point your guess is as good as ours.

I'd like perma-alpha. Makes better camo for the project.
