Return of Reckoning

Greetings Everyone,

Some of you from Badlands and Phoenix Throne might recognize us Gaiscioch from the popular Battle for Badlands series. I wanted to say hi and let you know we'll be invading Tier 1 here in the next few weeks as part of a weekly livestream series. Overtime we'll be hosting events in the lower tiers until we're ready to take on T4. I look forward to sharing many glorious victories with the Order Soldiers currently playing. For our destruction counterparts, thank you for playing and I look forward to the honor of battle!

I remember leaving you a PM on your YouTube channel at the end of 2014/beginning of 2015 about this server and how it could use an injection of your leadership/skills/experience, but at the time you nor Gaiscioch were interested as you were heavily involved in either Guild Wars or ESO (I can't recall which right now). Having played on Badlands, and privileged to be involved in many of your onslaughts when GSCH would come out and lead some of the most epic 100+ on 100+ battles I've ever participated in, I was thoroughly bummed out at your response.

I'm ecstatic at your decision to come back and look very forward to battling you and Order (Destruction since release) when this heinous DDoS business is dealt with. Your presence on the server will, imo, improve a few things for all of us in RoR, mainly in the area of attitude regarding "it's alpha phase..." and the complacency that factor seems to create among many players, helping all of us to "forget" that fact and begin (again) to focus on how awesome it is to be able play our favorite hobby and immerse ourselves in the thrill of battle, and battles yet to come.

A toast, to the return of the Gaiscioch Clan and the renewed life they'll breathe into this project and the minds of the playerbase. Cheers! And, good hunting.

Yeah, Guild Wars 2 was a very special chapter for us and we had to devote all our resources at it. It was the game Oldroar (White Lion and one of our Battle for Badlands leaders) was very much looking forward to playing when he passed away. We created a tribute chapter in his honor being Warhammer was going down the wrong road and even he didn't play it anymore. Things are running very smooth now in GW2 and with ESO slowing pace to the point where it's pretty much at the recreational level we've created a New Social Adventure system that allows our members to play other games together and still progress through the Gaiscioch ranks.

Now that said this wont be a full fledge Gaiscioch chapter like anyone who fought us or with us remembers, this will be a casual group of us that pop one once or twice a month together to engage in some reminiscent battles. At most you're looking at 20 of us playing once in a while. We won't be anywhere near where we were on Badlands. Don't have the free time to pull that off .

Had a blast playing with you all in t1! Ran across so many familiar faces and even some old guildies . Some of our biggest rivals on Badlands were roaming around. Look forward to leading aome T2 battles soon!
