Return of Reckoning

Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my wife. She was trying to register but cannot due to the following error:

General Error
Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions.

Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: [email protected]

We tried different e-mail addresses but seems the problem is on your side. The user gets to be created though since she cannot register with same user and e-mail (says already taken) and when she tries to log in it says the account hasn't been activated. Activation e-mail never came.

The e-mail address [email protected] is non existent, [email protected] cannot be found and the contact form doesn't work ("The system has failed to log you in."). Is there anyway to resend the activation e-mail?

Ok, found an option to resend the activation e-mail and this time she received it, however upon clicking the link same error appeared as before (but the account got fully registered).

So if it happens to someone just use the option to resend the activation e-mail: http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... resend_act

Someone could also check the write permissions on that folder.

the exact same thing happened to me.
And i solved it via using the re-send authentification email when you try to log-in on the forum.

Maybe worth looking into?
