Feinted Positioning

Feinted positioning used to work where you could hit it and then snare someone regardless of the way they were facing. This used to help WE and WH deal with kiters and such. I'm not sure if this is an intended thing, if it is then i have no complaint, and it's not exactly a massive problem just something I wanted to point out because of the sheet amount of kiters on both sides.

Thanks for all your hard work ROR team!

The fix to prevent FP from doing this was intentional.

Reads snapshot description (has a positional component), reads feinted positioning (drops positional requirements), uses feinted positioning and snapshot but nothing happens...scratches head...

It originally used to work with FP, but was later changed on live.

Snapshot doesn't require positioning. The snare component does.

Then again, it is the same with Torment/Agonizing wound. They can be used all the time, but the armor ignore only works when you are behind your target. FP removes this requirement and lets your Torment/AW ignore armor on your target even if you are in front of him. So i really see no reason why the snare on Snapshot shouldn't work when using FP.

Cus ranged snares on MDPS = OP or something.

FP has a 1 minute CD (unless you use a tactic) so it's not like you can spam the ranged snare. Also, this is the only way a WE/WH can catch a kiter (assuming you weren't able to kill him after jumping him from stealth). Even then it is hard considering rDPS classes have a mix of self punt/ranged snares of their own/ranged KDs/ranged disarms/staggers.

Finally, WH/WE don't have Charge.
