Glad im not wrong in my understanding of mechanics.

I think anyone who has spent any time in T4 knew who you were talking about. I could write an equally long rant about Destro frustrations, so I am not saying 1 side is better, they are just different. They are almost complete opposites which is funny IMO.
At the end of the day, the main issue is incentives. Players do what they have incentive to do. Thats the bottom line. Many players play selfish, because playing selfish earns them higher contr. For an example - a warband leader, who sets his group up with the best healers, and solid DPS to get death blows, who also makes it so his group is the one turning in supplies... Anyone who opposes this gets kicked. Heck I remember going for a quick pee after dying (and in the keep because he didnt put any healers in my party.... but 2 in his... ) and came back probably <2 min later and was kicked for "afking".
Anyways, I see this as a fruitless discussion because ultimately the DEV team wants to make the game THEY want to play. Which is fine, its their "right" to do that, but what THEY want to make =/= largely what I see others WANT to play. I talk to so many people that says T4 is boring, it needs rework, its bad, blah blah blah.... but it doesnt really matter. There have been (from my perspective) black and white clear QOL improvements and suggestions that seem to be "no brainers" that the DEVs dont like nor want to do. Again, im fine with it, im not in charge nor do I want to be....
But just realize that any "bucking" you do (going against the DEV grain) is not well received and likely will go no where and you will just been seen as some "PUG-Whiner" who "cant be bothered to join a guild" who also "just wants loot faster". When in reality you are probably a sincere gamer with a life and whose only expectation is to log into the game whenver life permits, have fun, play with friends if they are on, and feel a since of "progression" on your character over time.
Well that, my friend, is the disconnect. This game is a "RNG or Die Trying" type of game where its also a "get a group or get farmed" type of game too. Both things, are not appealing to the "masses" but ARE appealing to the ROR DEVs and a SELECT player base who love archaic things just because "Thats how LIVE did it bro".
This leads me all to my point: Take this game for what it is, dont bother trying to make any major suggestions, because out of maybe 100 player suggestions, the DEVS might do 1 of them - regardless how good the idea is or not, and you just need to let it go and play the game for what it is, and dont try and think about what it "could be". They will make he game THEY want to make, not the game we want them to make, so its better to just let them work, thank them for what you like and bite your tongue on what you dont like. If you dont want ROR to be your "main game" because of that - well, join the club. I have a handful of games I play and ROR is maybe just 1/3rd of my gaming time due to what I just wrote. Its not always the game I CAN play - because I may not have friends online or there may not be enough T4 RVR going on etc... so its a game I get to play only when a few stars allign that enable me to play (I have more than 30 min, I have friends online, and there is enough population online) if you cant "check" off all three of those boxes, you might as well log into a different game and just relax and have fun.
