My RvR rant!(with questions)

So long time player, blah blah.

Ive rerolled a lot during my warhammer career. Ive spent little time in t4. But since my time there..

People seem to follow the players they recognize being there longest.
Ive gotten a lot of hate from offering my strategies on play.

The wbs i have been apart of, this is how it goes. Run around run around, run around, run around.
They evade fights every chance they get, they leave people behind to die(usually leader mounts up while fight is happening and says everyone to leave, if you dont kicked)
They only get in fights with 20vs3 situations. Never take bos(many instances where we just run right past the bo, or we take the pve path!).

When defending a zone. They instantly go to keep(sometimes 15min before the enemy starts the attack)

So questions. I am asking these questions because maybe i am wrong and my frustration is misplaced. But as i understand.. And please correct me where im wrong.

At a keep defense. You dont technically need to be at the keep? If you hold battle objectives and run the supplies(repairs door)?
With aao the repair is even greater.
So, in theory if the realm were to hold battle objective and run supplies the door would be repaired enough to require no one at keep?(you can even bring the supplies to WC(with diminished returns).
Also, i am unsure the % of what holding bos and running supplies does to percentage of zone. But i believe holding the bos/supplies offers more control over the zone then just having the keep?
Not to mention, if the player carrying supply is guarded(double guarded?) the supply wont drop if the player is hit?

And if you hold a zone for 45mins with 40% more control the zone resets? Neither side i have seen any of this strategy from..( or at most very little of it)
It is very annoying. These things have been put in place for a reason and no one utilizes them?? No one actually plays the game? Are they using strategies that only applied in live and not so much here? I am at a loss..

Keep defense usually involves a few random tanks/dps jumping off the wall to attempt to destroy the ram. And rdps doing their best to dot it up and everyone has to be revived over and over and over..
I have seen very little flanking out sides(posterns) I have never been so frustrated at the lack of gameplay from others. It is maddening(not the game itself)
Oh, and the opposing realm usually holding ALL battle objectives.....

I am tired of running around in zerg situations. The fights are flee, charge, flee, charge. Whichever side thinks they have more momentum they push.. (sometimes the 3 players push back the whole wb)
over and over and over.. No one supports anyone, everyone just trys to get away or survive however they can.
Sure i know what your thinking. Its just a game take a break. Well why play if you cant even play and arnt even doing it the right way??? You use strategies that make no sense and take away from gameplay!! and you continue to do it when a better approach is possible? (maybe my understanding of game mechanics is wrong and its my fault)

I think my greatest complaint comes from the way people play in general. It is usually very bad. Literally everyone is just trying to get away, or ready to turn around at any moment and flee. All of what i have mentioned are things that wont change anytime soon or at all, which is disheartening i really do like the game. But my annoyance at simple gameplay has reached new levels(not because of the game itself)

It is like they are stuck in a bad mindset and view the game from a demented angle. I am continually frustrated by the lack of support/care/communication that has taken over in game(very little open parties/wbs.), listen to 1 person or leave... It is driving me away, maybe its what drove everyone else away. You people are ruining the game with your selfish, idiotic strategies that take away from actual PVP. Maybe you should reroll and go back to T1 cuz you obviously have no idea what your doing.
Or i suppose that would suck cuz then no one would listen to you(and sometimes thats what it seems its all about)

Apologies if my strategies on game mechanics is wrong. Thanks for bringing one of the best pvp games back! Too bad there are so many idiots on my realm!!(and no i wont switch sides, or stfu,) RANTOFF

In before you inevitably get flamed. I don't really have any advice, except maybe join a guild/alliance that runs rvr warbands. It's much better in comms.

Get a late night wb together and successfully capture and defend some bo's, get some reputation and people will fall in line.

I'm a sloppy wb leader but when i've got a larger side and momentum i crush EVERYTHING and people (more or less) KNOW it.

What would a 3-wb-a-side keep funnel fight be without Kagaz?

How many LEGENDARY assaults/defences have occured because i (Kagaz) ALWAYS run balls-out to the front of the fighting and then (when healers can be bothered to back me up) smash apart entire formations?

You just need more WAAAGH and less thinking and less talking, sheer brutality solves everything, it really does.

You are not wrong.

You just don't have enough power, yet.

Embrace the WAAAGH Kikkl, Embrace the WAAAGH.

some great changes have been made to T1. if similar changes are made to T4 i think things will get a lot better

yeah T4 orvr isn't that great right now but that isn't the whole game - debolster, play SCs, explore PQs and find all the unique gear that's been added, get your crafting game going. basically, get yourself ready for when the T4 changes do come around. train for war

Benefits of tactical repositioning are often greater than the gains from swift and brutal martyrdom.

You really really really really should do yourself the favor and follow dansaris advice or find some form of organisation.

It seems like you demand more from the game. The game offers what you want. So you need people who have the same attitude.

There are many guilds on the server who offer that what you search.

If you are order cntk offers a open WB event. Perhaps take it as an opportunity to try out organised play. Can only speak for toshutkidup but he is a nice guy.

On destruction it's a little bit tricky. You kinda need to find a guild or alliance.

If you are in a guild organise a six man. First step into organised play without that much organisation needed. You will perhaps feed in the beginning if you are new to the game. But tbh who cares. Gather experience and you and your mates will learn the limits of your characters. Can't succeed if you don't try. ;-)

Oh and quick edit: join the comm ppl sometimes provide.

Scale down and play in an organized 6 man with voice coms. Also accept that at any scale the general strategy is attack when you outnumber them, flee when they outnumber you, and fall in love with the game that rare opportunity when you're evenly matched number and skill wise. Public war bands are not the place for you, homie

Pretty accurate, imho - especially if you add xrealming to the strategies that are fancied the most...

As others have pointed out already, your best bet is to pick up a group - the voice comms; the fun to be had by virtue of plain communication, alone can prevent pug-powered burnout.
Alternatively, starting up a guild yourself might even be better, that way you could potentially cultivate a warband to kick off change in the lakes ~ however, that'd take quite a while unless other guilds cooperate with you.
