Because it is a strength-based attack. I mean if you don't want to use the easy counter of simply turning around 180 degrees before it goes off, then I can't give you any further advice.
So order has to do mouse twisting with perfect timing and then hope that the parry goes off while you guys are face rolling one your keyboard for the easy win? Awesome!

Who are "you guys"? And I don't see how turning 180 degrees after a 2 second channel is very difficult to do, but maybe you are a keyboard turner and it is difficult to turn around quickly. /Shrug

ive never seen a more apt name for a skill, it truly is terrible. it has a second range check and often times you can just jump to avoid it. imagine in the world of 1 second cast time ranged kd's and insta pulls from choppas you choose to whine about the worst pull in the game.

WL's is worse, but yeah, TE is fine (as in doesn't need a nerf).

One time it bugged, though, and I got pulled up a mountain like 350ft very slowly. Was interesting to watch.

Terrible Embrace is clunky as hell and prone to failure because the target farted. Probably fine as it is.

That is simply not true. It works every time when in range. Jumping avoids nothing.

Wow, lots of destros in here defending their stuff...

If your team can't interrupt clearly visible 2s cast, then the spell does what it is intended to do. Yes.

It's funny because the ability got it's target selection completely turned on it's head

you used to pull classes like meleedps, rangedps and 2h tanks because they have low chance to disrupt

now you pull the low parry classes like healers

lol, but its fine i guess
