yeah I know shaman prob wont be the optimal for dps. but if you had to choose for lvl 26 Da green or gork?

If choosing between gorks barbs and you got nuffin id take the hdbuff simply cause ordo has like 50 billion healers

the strenght of dps shammy comes from the fact that you can kite for days with move speed and detaunt tactics

Like cory says the strength of the shaman comes in it's ability to kite and survive, but they lack the burst and sustained dmg that the AM has, which means if you run into a good healer you probably won't kill anything unless they get tunnel vision and chase you forever.

The lack of burst and the terrible healdebuff in comparison to the AM means they arent as good in a lot of situations.

The more I looked at the tree for DPS shaman the more I don't like it, but if i had to come up with something now I would probably do something like this at 31/40 (t3)

There is a reason there are a lot more "known" DPS AMs compared to DPS shaman.

both when u we get more lvls but start in da green to power up hit for heals then u can go hit for hit with and m/rdps try to remember not to get over run ur aoe detunt well help u but its the spell set back that gets u first tactic in da green helps with this but i build a non kiter on live my ping was to high to kite so i build a face to face fighter worked well went head to head with the servers best order players in duels to fine tune my build was the third highest renown gainer for the 2 weeks it took me to go from rr50 to 80 in my dps build no healing just straight up solo roaming just stay away from AMS

a big hint is to learn all the cooky cutter order build so u know when the best time in their rotation to detunt
but u will pic this very fast just getting out there and fighting them

my stats try to max int,crit.
sec stats wounds and tuff
my solo roming tactic were devin fury, 10%crit, brain burst tuffness debuff, and the decrease in carst time for i'll take that
i run healing morells to counter order dps morells

i had a straight up dps tactic set to and a aoe debuffer set and difference morells to sutis
can not remember all the tactic names

shaman dps is viable but need a good set of armor and jewels and high rr

Right now i would say its not viable, its going to be very difficult to put out enough dps to kill a healed target, even with gorks barbs.

You wont be able to kill healers who have a brain and you will lose to dps am's but it provides you with enough defense to get yourself out of trouble most the time and allows you to kill players who overextend while you kite.

As for full dps build where if you get caught by a few dps you will die like a noob you can try this spec

i use to destroy dps am's with this build, the burst is insane but you dont want to be roaming solo or expecting to out damage real dps in sc's

Also let me say it aint like Am's where you load your target up with 4 dots and an ap drain, detaunt and jump around, you actually have to try to dps as a sham

for me sham is viable in hybrid for solo but no lev26 just lev40 with stuff conqu/invader

With the current lvlcap, full healing all the way.

But morf with all the wls order is running I don't think dps whammy is that viable
