Hey guys,
I was wondering if shaman dps is viable and which mastery tree is best? Gork with Geddoff & Gorks Barbs OR Da Green with Scuse Me & You got Nuthin?
Im guessing Da Green would be more defensive vs Gork but im not sure. Hopefully you guys can provide feedback.
also whats more of a gain Armor or Toughness Tailsmans? Im at a tossup cuz armor you cannot get on stats but any armor debuff would suck?
Let me know what you guys think!

Re: Shaman DPS Viable??
Really good solo class in the lakes, good in small parties of like 2 or 3 people. Not exactly meta for 6v6/SC's but some groups will run one, but they have a group that is tailormade for one.
Toughness is generally a stat used by classes with high mitigation values particularly armor, because unlike wounds, toughness is a stat that scales (with mitigation). When choosing between wounds or toughness you have to ask yourself which will get you more mileage in your build, and I would say for shaman that would most of the time be wounds.
If you are going DPS you would need to be pumping INT, probably putting whats left over into wounds, and using some points from renown into avoidance.

Re: Shaman DPS Viable??
I only played DPS AM, and their tree is def a lot better. So you are gonna have to wait for someone that plays dps shaman to post a build.

Re: Shaman DPS Viable??
This is the build I used in T4 when I played my Shaman way back when.
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=sha ... 5306:5307:
It gives you the most utility to be effective in all situations. Sticky Feetz was used to slow either a fleeing enemy or pursuing enemy, as well as a elemental resist debuff (all your damage is elemental). Scuse me also reduces their resist while the 5 second silence and the 50% heal debuff was a must if you tried to kill a healer or a magic caster.
Currently, in T2, the dps Shamans are really bad compared to AMs because of the lack of DoTs and damage that we can do. You get better abilities in T3, mainly the morale one Gork Sez Stop which is great for when someone is chasing you or running away from you, and because it's a morale, it ignores mitigation.
My advise would be to stay as a healing Shaman until at least T3 which will probably feature this build...

Otherwise I would suggest to wait until T4 when you get your good abilities.

Re: Shaman DPS Viable??
all dps healers are viable in premade and smallscale or solo. in 90% the worst idea u might get is going dps in scenario cuz no matter how hard u try, sorc would outdps your whole rotation with single doombolt crit.
dps healers are good, just complete trash especially in t2 compared to true dps classes.
