I like the ambition of wanting to start a company and buy the rights. Indeed, buying those rights outright would be prohibitively expensive. There may be other structures that are feasible: e.g., leasing rights temporarily for a small amount or nothing in exchange for giving GW/EA part of any profit stream. They get a free option on the results with no expenditure and the press of backing the only MMO built and managed by the fans themselves. Don't be afraid to think big, and where there's a will there's a way. Having said that, I'm happy with the game as-is.

Easy peasy ... Start a company (very easy to do), get a contract with GW/EA -reach mutual understandings - contract - win.

devs should create a paypal account on wich we ll just send them money from time to time , and we ll justify it by saying it s gift .

I get it most mean well but if you make money in any way of WAR they can call in the lawyers.

Any process would be harmful and possibly disrupt RoR regardless if they win loose or have anything substantial to go on.

Most of you are clever enough to know gifts or whatever will count as earnings and today these transactions aren't invisible if they go after you.

On the bright side, Azareal Games Ltd. is not going to harm our favorite developper since his character name is AZARAEL (as in the biblical name "God has helped")
Unless of course GW hires lawyers as dyslexic as MMO gamers.
