I have just found it polarizes player activity based on what they are grinding for atm. I always think its funny to hear people yell about the campers in the WC - well, they are doing scs for weapons. Should the requirements for gear be mixed, then every player needs to be involved in the entire game.
Again, its just a thought. Im sure there are many reasons its a bad idea.
When SC weapons released on live I was against it. Scenarios have all the structure they need to be a desirable form of play without pulling players from RvR by having some of the best weapons available. LotD weapons had the same problem, BiS gear should come from RvR if that's what you want people to play, IMHO.
For RoR, I would rather see PvE sets tied to scenarios than weapons. A weaker alternative to BiS equipment, not a grinding requirement. Currently with how the T2 works, people don't need them, and RvR is happening instead. Might be an issue in the future.

In the end, I agree, unified currency is probably the best.

none would even do sc so....... All ppl would roll in rvr cos that way if they see and unbeatable premade you dont have to wait 10 min at wc.

People who like sc do sc. How many ppl guard the mailbox instead of doing rvr? Ppl did sc on live, while we had unified currency. It was consensus on the bioware boards that it was an improvement.

If there is this number of players guarding mail box it's because maybe they are bored (like me) to be zerged all days all night buy 3wb of order or because there is nothing to do atm? So we stay wc and we do scen or nothing else .

Removing the mentioning of the other faction would make your post much more serious.

greetings!
its so much fun to play this game again and i say thanks to every1 that helps bringing this live. i realy like what u are doing!
i have a few suggestions that might help to make it even more fun for players.
theres a little problem faction balance and x-realming.
i think there two ways to make it better:
1 for making it less zergy
- remove the guards from battle objects. if a faction wants the keep, then they have to guard the bo on their own. zerg - guarding players = smaller zerg
- reduce the timer for taken bos from 5min to 3 min again. why should my underdog wb cap kinshels, when i know the 4 enemy wb will make it even from ruins in time to retake. when u reduce the timer to 3 mins, then they will have to splitt their forces and this will make it more fair.
2) the loosing faction needs more rewards - fighting for the underdog feels not worthfull, u get stomped all time and the winner takes it all
- the aao-buff will attract more players to fight for the underdog. it did on live and will do the job RoR too.
- lets implement a "looser" tic after the keep lord is fallen. this will make more ppl stay on the underdog faction. it will not automatically mean, that they will fight, but ppl that stay on looser side waiting for pity tic will not make the zerg of the winning faction bigger.

Yes a looser tic like the live server X-Exp X-Rp and 1 medaillon.

unified RVR currency would work well with the quest idea I put forward. just weight it differently.
notice I didn't put forth an SC exclusive quest. just kill quests that could be used in SC or oRVR. so if the BO capture and Keep take quests have a better Risk vs. Reward then players will gravitate toward that end. though if oRVR is dead, having the option to take SC for the same tokens (tho less of them) to buy gear would go a long way to keep 'off peek' players engaged.
