It hasn't even been 24 hours since this patch came out and everyone is talking about these changes as if it has negatively impacted them.
Play the game for a week, after the patch. Test different builds, setups play styles.
Document your findings and review what you encountered in a week. Then we can use player base data on how these changes are actually affecting us instead of screaming about how you feel balance is swinging.

And to those few (many whoa thought we were mostly adults here) who just whine like an 11year old. Your post is flat out ignored and worth less than a fart in the wind. Sure it stinks but easily forgotten. Be more constructive, and speak with data instead of your feelings when it comes to gameplay changes. Maybe eat a snack before you post, or take a poop, or wank off or do all three. Whatever it takes to be constructive will both grab the attention of the decision makers and your fellow players.

YOU tell me how to make my BiS SnB and my BiS 2h Blork work now man!!!!!

All we have is a WS buff that separates us from the far superior Chosen and even the BG has a spot in the ST party in city and Ranked.... Blorks can literally do nothing that another tank cant do better and they gave our mirror a BUFFED VERSION of WAHHHHGGGG....

We have no identity anymore and won't have guaranteed spots in ANY part of game play.. Or you tell me how to fix this myself man.. ive got 100s and 100s of hours sunk into this toon and im LOST.

for someone with 100's and 100s of hours please do tell me that ability wasn't the only reason you played your class. You know just as much as I do that the might green beast known as the Black Orc is one mean green machine, and not that of a one-trick pony. Be that of the might orc and adapt to your situation homie! If you loved the Black Orc before these changes I truly hope you love it still. 100's of hours is alot of commitment to anything and you surely don't sound like a 1 trick pony! Show the warbands of RoR why your green buldge is so massive! do it!

That and the morale pump was all that set Blorks aside from the other 2 very capable tanks.. Those tanks now fit every role Blorks once fit better than a Blork does.. Blorks cant Ranked.. They dont fit in ST City party.. they dont fit in AOE party anymore.. then dont really have anything to bring other than a WS buff and some stat steals...

Its really Fing sad and you have no idea what its like to have your class identity stripped suddenly and given to your mirror.. OR DO YOU!????

Again i have 100s and 100s of hours played as a Blork... I am totally at a loss for what to do now...

Amazing Patch thanks you devs! Cant wait to see what u will do with the 2h overhaul for slayer and choppa! game is getting better by the weeks!!!

tank with guard is still better than 0 tanks in city/wb/sc. so stop cry

It's cute you talk about about roleplay in a "balance patch" topic of a mmorpg. By the way BO is not a greenbeast but a bagmeat. They just delete our core mechanic to give nothing.

why should bos not do ranked? they can join just like everybody else
every snb tank will get a place in city, just because there are not enough kotbs and chosens around

What does KOTBS have to do with any of this? SM will still get their place cemented in a warband because of whispering winds.

You can say all the.... whatever you want but fact of the matter is Black Ork just got knocked down a few pegs on destro. Wouldn't be surprised if we just see warbands full of chosens now.



By the way..... meta stand for "most effective tactics" for a reason.

Careful on AM morale pump, you might have not realized that you just gave a REALM aoe morale pump with EoV, that has to go, before it even starts.

If your rationale is to mirror pivotal abilities, you should consider mirroring the good order stuff too.

In general I don't disagree on the morale changes, but always supported progressive changes, instead of hammering big swing patches.

On a side note, I seriously question the RC system to begin with, when you have long time veterans playing both sides with enormous game experience and knowledge not in there, only because they are not YES men.
Just swallow your pride pill and use them to gather accurate feedback, instead of this utter mess.

This. RCs should be people who play and lead on both sides since they have the big picture of the overall meta to understand what needs changes and what doesn't.

Now, best case scenario we won't get any more RCs at all.

Or maybe next ranked season it will be order's turn to get 3 inactive RCs and an entire A4 page of nerfs and our turn to call it "balance".

You make it sound like it wasn't mentioned internally, that those changes would cause huge problems, when talking about CDR.

I don't know what was discussed internally. I wasn't there. But from what the RCs who were vocal so far talked, it doesn't sound like there was much opposition. Either that or the balance team didn't really care what RCs had to say. Wargrimnir is on record for saying in the last Q&A that he doesn't agree with the BO having CDR. Now it seems his vision is reality.

For atleast geared SHs the changes are not that bad, i think. The overall dmg output was extreme as i mentioned months before but the reduced range of the rsh created a weird spot where changes could drastically impact the class as a whole (means more careful adjustments are advised and not uncontrolled nearly impulsive like changes).
But then again, i cant speak for SHs with like vanq and below and it seems that their struggle is yet again increased seemingly invalidating the whole concept of reworking the sh because his struggles in competitive situations in the first place.
If i would try to apply a grade system used in germany (1 = excellent to 6 = very, veeery bad) i would think the overall changes of this patch as a whole earned a 4-. Maybe im wrong.

Also the squig pet is still horribly bugged with teleporting behind the player and not adjusting its position when attacking a new enemy (who is in range), making it easily killed by melees because its just running into its old position. Means: The patch doesnt work. Made github entries on that but its that way since May 8th... Maybe its fixed with the hotfix atm but if not welcome to this comment.

Of course there wasn't much opposition. Did you see main criteria for choosing Champs in the first place? Never say anything that devs don't like. And if you do you get kicked from the team it seems.
Also from what was said here it seems number of posts on the matter is much more important then quality - if you post 100 "yes man" posts you are providing much more then 5 posts with arguments you are for/against something.
