Did you also miss the part where he is squishy and gets murdered easily? did you look at his targets? Magus is a squishy class that needs to be STATIONARY to pull off the rotation and relies on a pet that dies extremely fast. How many fights are typically stationary? rarely any unless you're in a scenario and are being pushed to your wc. The moment you go after the magus he/she has to move away, which means the stacks are lost and the only mobile dps is casting dots that are easily cleansable and AP hungry. I'm amazed how whiny and entitled the ROR player base is.

Edit: The patch also was a nice buff to engies since they have access to pierce defenses, they can now have a total of 36% strikethrough, so yeah let's tone down the whines.

Would be good to get the thinking behind the changes , especially the Black ork ones. It’s hard for me to see the direction and thinking of the changes.

I'm rolling a 2h Slayer today
Now I regret binning Varagi, all I ever wanted was 2h spec to be competitive and that seems to be the way it's going. Now I get to have a fun time in T1 then speedy progress via the new post T1 exp changes.
Should have an apothecary slayer to go with my new Tali Engineer in no time

Good, thats the spirit. I have a baby 2-hander sl, just waiting it out a bit and see what happens with Aza changes. But, it does not make sense to make ranged a weak choice compared to melee. For a player like me (maybe a rare breed) i play to relax and have a good time, sometimes on ranged and sometimes melee. Pop imbalance is still an issue and hard to do anything about.

You're not being forced to play anything, so hyperbolemuch. Point was that pug scenarios are overwhelmingly in favour of RDPS comps, and MDPS suffer in the absence of tanks: this change is akin to throwing MDPS a bone, and may motivate people to get on melee toons on Order

Ok, ty for that explanation. I really had no idea as i almost never do pug sc. Guess its a wait and see how it plays out then.
